Elías Úrbez Mural:
The artist surprises us with this singular and curious trick: the first thing that catches our attention is the perspective of the different buildings captured, highlighting the terrace of Doric style, when detaching this on top of the rest of buildings.
The artist represents different styles of the Mediterranean architecture, from classic to popular. Pigeons "coloms” also appear, alluding to this sport, which is still present nowadays in the culture of Calp, Finally, a composition that will provide the joy and delight of the Ilicitans (inhabitans of Elche): The Dama of Elche merged with The Gioconda of Leonardo da Vinci.
Mosaic Mural Gastón Castelló:
This mosaic mural was created by the Alicante painter Gastón Castelló, and is located on the facade of the current Tourist Information Office of the old town. It represents an allegory of Calp: the town of Calp, fishing, crops and its inhabitants.
