As a sign of wealth and social power, the dwellings were lavishly decorated: mosaic floors, marble, painted stucco, as well as small statues adorned rooms, fountains and private gardens.
The fragments recovered from house 2 make it possible to restore part of its mural decoration, which is divided into a plinth and a middle section.
On the back of the paintings there are herringbone-shaped incisions to make them easier to hold.
The sculptures from Baños de la Reina are an example of the sumptuousness and taste of the period.
They are the remains of smaller than life-size statues, of which only forearms and hands have survived.
The only bronze sculpture is represented by a fragment of probably male hair, with locks arranged in an "S" shape.
