The metal record from Ifach is large and varied, ranging from weaponry, objects for everyday use, those related to clothing and those for personal use.
The most common weapons are iron spears, sleeved in a wooden pole; iron projectiles for crossbows, artillery balls, knives, always kept in leather sheaths finished with bronze points, or fragments of armour made from iron plates.
We find fishing tongs and implements, such as hooks and weights for nets. There are also rivets from furniture with metal fittings that were found in the Ifach houses.
Among the objects for personal use, bracelets in bronze and brass stand out, as do earrings, especially in decorated silver.
As clothing, we find different buckles to fasten dresses, brooches, the standout being a brass buttoning from a waistcoat or doublet. It is dated to the first half of the 14th century with parallels in the Peninsula, Italy and Greece.
